Let’s explore the differences and similarities between two classic detective films: The Maltese Falcon (1941) and Chinatown (1974). Students should be familiar with both films; they can be viewed on Amazon and other streaming services or may be available at your local library. Look for elements of The Maltese Falcon reappearing in Chinatown!
